2013 NFL Scouting Combine

Hundreds of NFL hopefuls showed up to the NFL Scouting Combine Feb 20th-26th at Lucas Oil Stadium. Their goal? To catch the attention of some of the best coaches and scouts in the league. While showing off their skills was one way, they also found another way to catch the eyes of everyone watching-- rocking that Deuce Brand gear on their wrists. Players from Matt Scott of AZ to Landry Jones of OK, Terrance Williams of Baylor and Terron Armstead the offensive tackle clocking an impressive 4.71 in the 40 yd dash-- were all seen looking good and playing good.

Taylor Jensen - Athlete of the Month



Throughout 2012 Taylor had the best competitive season of his career winning the World Title in addition to Australasian and North American ASP Titles, a feat never before done in the history of longboarding.

Taylor was born in Lake Tahoe, CA in March of 1984 but moved to the beaches of Southern California before he could walk. His introduction to surfing came from his father Marty on the beaches of his hometown Coronado, CA at age 6. Although he excelled at numerous sports throughout his elementary and high school years, surfing was where he made his mark. Since turning pro at 17, he has won every major professional longboarding event around the world at least once. He has numerous national and international accolades including 2 ASP World Titles, 4 ASP North America titles and 3 Australasian regional titles.

Although famous for pushing the boundaries of what a longboard can do, Taylor is widely recognized as someone capable of riding anything he puts under his feet. With a passion for riding different crafts, from traditional single fin longboards to modern shortboards, and even alaias, Taylor is constantly in search of new and innovative ways to enjoy the ocean.

Congrats Crimson Tide!

Big congratulations goes out to the Alabama Crimson Tide, who are the 2013 BCS National Champs! The University of Alabama achieved their second consecutive national title (and third in the last four years) in a 42-14 win against the top-ranked and undefeated Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the BCS National Championship Game, which took place Monday, January 7th. Deuce Brand at the Sports Licensing & Tailgate Show

This January 17th-19th, Deuce Brand will be at the 2013 Sports Licensing and Tailgate Show, an event for merchandising and licensing in sports that brings together any and everything under the category of sports merchandising all under one roof. Lebron James unknwn Partners with Deuce Brand

Deuce Brand is proud to release our most recent collaboration with Miami-based retail store unKnwn, which is owned by NBA player Lebron James of the Miami Heat. Two individually unique timepieces were commissioned and designed for the luxury concept retail store. 

The first design consists of an all white band with matte light grey accents and features a clear backing that when in the dark, glows bright blue. The second design sports a gunmetal colorway with black accents and a camo backing. Both watches feature the term “mi6mi” on the back of the band, creatively tying in Lebron’s number "6" while paying homage to the city where he earned his first NBA title and where his store is located. In addition, the watches come packaged in casing that aesthetically complements each design. 

To commemorate this unique collaboration, Ducobi, crafters of artisan toys, created two custom items which will be on display at unKnwn. The full collection of watches can be purchased in-store at unKnwn beginning Christmas Eve 12/24/12. Each design is limited to 90 pieces. Deuce Team Athlete Taylor Jensen Wins Back-To-Back Titles

Deuce Brand would like to give a big congrats to Deuce Brand Team Athlete Taylor Jensen who, last week, won back-to-back ASP World Longboard titles at the 2012 CITIC PACIFIC ShenZhou Peninsula Pro in China. Two ASP World Longboard Titles is a feat in itself, but to claim them consecutively, Jensen says, is "amazing. I’m speechless. I haven’t even realized it happened yet.” Jensen received an impressive 17.65 (out of 20 possible) in the Finals to defeat Hawaiian Ned Snow. Stay tuned for TJ's new Signature watch, coming soon!!
