Three Days. One Game. Something Bigger.

From October 30 to November 1, the first Deuce Day of the Dead Basketball Clinic + Showcase brought the San Diego basketball community together at Alliant International University.

About 50 players kicked things off at Friday night's VIP session, and roughly 150 players took the court over the full weekend. Coaches came from Tijuana, Canada, Texas, Las Vegas and right here in San Diego to work with them.

Father to Son

Leading the weekend were Bob and Nolan Willett. Watching a father and son coach side by side said everything about what this clinic stood for: a love for the game, passed from one generation to the next.

To the coaches: you came from Tijuana, Canada, Texas, Las Vegas, across San Diego and across the country to stand beside Bob and Nolan, and you left everything on the court for the next generation. This clinic doesn't happen without you. Thank you for your time, your energy and for repping Deuce

To the players: you showed up ready to work and left everything you had on the court, for your teammates and for the ones who helped you get here. Thank you for bringing that energy all weekend. Keep it going.

Thank You, San Diego

To every player, family and coach who showed up: thank you. San Diego is home, and this weekend reminded us why.

Coach to player. Generation to generation. The game lives on.

FAMILY. COMMUNITY. BASKETBALL.

SOMOS UNDERDOGS. ✌️
