Founded by visionary Tom Lochtefeld, The Wave House is located on the boardwalk in Mission Beach, San Diego. Tom had the dream of taking the sport of surfing beyond the beach, flowboarding is rapidly gaining a foothold in the greater board-riding conscious, and is being touted as the future of action sports. The Wave House features a wave machine that is in the middle of the whole venue that you can either ride or hang out and watch people ride it. The venue serves food, drinks, and an ideal location to just hang out and take in the beach scene.

Oakley Brings Iconic Event Back to Lower Trestles
After a two- year hiatus, The World's top surfers will once again descend on the legendary shores of Lower Trestles at San Onofre State Beach just north of San Diego for the 2015 Oakley Lowers Pro. The event is will be one of the stops of the World Surf League (WSL) Men's Qualifying Series points. The event will run from April 28 to May 2, with ability to win 10,000 WSL points and a quarter of a million dollar prize purse on the line.
